Call To Order

An Engineering meeting of the OC Engineering club, was held on January 22nd, 2020. The meeting convened at 4pm, President Raymond Simpson presiding, Dylan Jensen, vice president, and Naomi-Lynn Miller, acting recorder.

Treasury Report

The President Reported that OC Club Congress still has funds for the remainder of the year for all the clubs, Raymond will find out more details at the next Club Congress Meeting.

Old business

Advertising/Recruitment

• Raymond asked Naydene, Director of Tutoring at OC, about advertising the RobotX program and the Engineering Club in the tutoring center. Results discussed in New Business

Business Cards

• Are still on the list to be acquired

Club Logo

• Still needs to be designed
• An art student needs to be recruited.

New business

• Wikimedia training was conducted for all members
• Recommended meeting for Joel Martin and Raymond Simpson with the Dean for a Secure Storage room for club assets.

Alternate Meeting Room

• Motion: Moved by Raymond Simpson to talk to Dr. Tuncol about using a classroom to meet.
• Motion carried.

Garden Club Support

• Motion: Moved by Raymond Simpson to continue support for the Garden Club.
• Motion carried.

When is next meeting/event

• The next meeting was agreed for the winter quarter, would shift to a different day, and time, probably Wednesday.

Approval of minutes

Motion was made by Yuval Martin, and seconded to approve the minutes of the 10JAN2020 meeting. Motion carried.

Adjournment
