Call To Order

An Engineering meeting of the OC Engineering club, was held on May 21th, 2020. The meeting convened at 3:30pm, called to order by Raymond Simpson via Zoom Chat. President Raymond Simpson presiding, Vice President Dylan Jensen and Yuval Martin(Officer), a quorum being present.

Advertising/Recruitment

• Members are continuing one on one recruitment
  • Members are encouraged to get resume online
  • Members are encourage to help write documents

Business Cards

• 500 have been ordered/received
• Business cards are a tool to get people to OCRobotX website, and brand exposure.

Current EE Club Project: Holonomic Drive Robot

Dylan and Joel reporting on progress of holonomic test drone

• Dylan showed the design conception on the suspension
• Joel talked about the code and how a holonomic bot works and the relevance to the RobotX competition

New business

Introduction of New Members to RobotX Project

• Club discussed creating "intro videos" to streamline new member introduction
• Facebook page is up
  • Requests for volunteers to manage the social networking aps i.e. Facebook, Instagram
• Presentation of business cards was made
  • Business Cards will passed out to members at the first opportunity

Next Meeting

• Next meeting planned in 2 weeks, June 4th, 2020

Approval of minutes

A motion was made by Joel Martin and seconded by Raymond Simpson to adjourn and approve the minutes of the 21May2020 meeting. Motion carried.
